“See now, this is why I stay off Twitter…” she started. “Just making stuff up for no reason…weekly. Anyway, back to filming Challengers.”
Zendaya and Holland have been quietly dating for months.
News of their rekindled relationship became public last summer when footage of them making out in a car came out in July 2021.

Holland revealed how the two were not ready to come out publicly as a couple then and actually never really intended to, according to a GQ they gave in November.
“One of the downsides of our fame is that privacy isn’t really in our control anymore, and a moment that you think is between two people that love each other very much is now a moment that is shared with the entire world,” Holland said, alluding to the video. “I’ve always been really adamant to keep my private life private because I share so much of my life with the world anyway. We sort of felt robbed of our privacy.”
“I don’t think it’s about not being ready [for our relationship to be outed],” he continued. “It’s just that we didn’t want to.”
Zendaya added how the public’s intense interest in their relationship “was quite strange and weird and confusing and invasive. The equal sentiment [we both share] is just that when you really love and care about somebody, some moments or things, you wish were your own… I think loving someone is a sacred thing and a special thing and something that you want to deal with and go through and experience and enjoy amongst the two people that love each other.”
Zendaya, who moved to Los Angeles for a career in entertainment at the young age of 12, explained to Allure in November 2019 how she appreciates the privacy that being an actress gives her, versus being a musical performer. Although, it should be noted she has done both, releasing a self-titled album in 2013 as well as singing on her HBO show as well.
“There’s a layer of personal life that I think actors get that music artists don’t,” she told the outlet. “They have no character to hide behind, so they have to be very open. [As actors] we get a little bit of a separation.”
