Robin Williams‘ daughter, Zelda Williams, has pleaded with fans on social media to stop sending her a viral impersonation of her father by the actor, Jamie Costa.

Zelda tweeted this past Tuesday “Guys, I’m only saying this because I don’t think it’ll stop until I acknowledge it… please, stop sending me the ‘test footage’.”

This past Tuesday, Costa posted a five-minute video on his YouTube channel where he impersonates Williams learning from his “Mork & Mindy” costar Pam Dawber (played by Sarah Murphree) of the death of his friend comic John Belushi.

The clip, titled “ROBIN Test Footage Scene,” had many users vying for a film with Jamie Costa starring as Williams, who tragically died by suicide in 2014 after battling Lewy body dementia.

Last year, Zelda made the announcement via her Twitter and Instagram accounts that she was taking a break from the social media platform — revealing how other people publicly mourning her father’s death can make her feel like a “roadside memorial” and “emotionally buried.”

“It’s hard for me on regular, good days to remain the person expected to graciously accept the world’s need to share their memories of him and express their condolences for his loss,” Zelda wrote in the post.

“While I am constantly touched by all of your boundless continued love for him, some days it can feel a bit like being seen as a roadside memorial — a place, not a person — where people drive past and leave their sentiments to then go about their days comforted their love for him was witnessed.”

“Sometimes, that leaves me emotionally buried under a pile of others’ memories instead of my own,” Zelda continued on. “After all, even roses by the truckload still weigh a ton.”

She then added how seeing other people’s memorial posts on her father’s death anniversary is “simply too much”, and followed the post with links to suicide prevention hotlines around the world for those in need of it.

“Reach out. Seek help. Keep fighting,” she concluded. On what would’ve been Robin Williams’ 69th birthday last month, Zelda announced she would be donating to as many homeless shelters as possible in his memory.

“Know I am wishing you all at least one hearty, immature belly laugh on Dad today,” she wrote in a tweet.
