On Oct. 7, “The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City” star Whitney Rose took to Instagram to ask for prayers.
In a statement shared on her Instagram Story, Rose revealed her daughter, Bobbie Rose, was rushed to the hospital, Today reported.
“My beautiful community, please pray for my angel daughter, Bobbie Rose,” Rose began her statement. “I normally would never come on here to share something so vulnerable but we need prayers and good vibes right now.”
“She was taken by ambulance to the ICU today for severe asthma exacerbation,” Rose explained before signing the statement, “xoxo.”
Rose later deleted the statement.
According to the Mayo Clinic, “an asthma attack also is called an asthma exacerbation or asthma flare-up.” The clinic defines an asthma attack as “a sudden worsening of asthma symptoms.”
On Oct. 6, Rose’s husband, Justin, took to his Instagram Story as well sharing a video of Bobbie on a stretcher being loaded into an ambulance with oxygen.
“Thoughts and prayers for (my) baby girl today. Struggling with her breathing,” he wrote.
In a second Story post, shared around 1:00 pm EST, Rose thanked everyone “for all of the love and prayers for my sweet Bobbie Rose, we feel your energy.”
“Unfortunately, we do not have any updates at this time,” Rose continued. “Please keep prying for our angel.”
Rose often highlights her loving relationship with her teen daughter on social media.
In April, on her 14th birthday, she described Bobbie as “kind, beautiful, fun, smart, adventurous, resilient,” and more.
