A member of the community asks:

“What would you do if your ex-husband’s new wife was taking showers with you and your ex-husband’s daughters. Their ages at the time we’re seven years old and 10 years old. And she also walked around naked in front of them all the time? I have never shown or bathed with my daughters, and I have never walked around naked in front of them. I know if I’m in the shower and they have to go to the bathroom they will come in and go and then leave after they’re done. My ex-husband has no problem with our daughters getting a shower with their step-mother. I called Children and Youth on my ex-husband and his wife.”

Community Advice for This Mom Who Is Upset Over Her Children’s Stepmother Walking Around Them Naked

To see what advice the Mamas Uncut Facebook community has for this mom in need, read the comments of the post embedded below.

Advice Summary

Many of our community members agreed that the stepmother should not be showering with or exposing herself around them, agreeing that her daughters were a little too old for that.

One mom wrote, “She needs to cover up and have a shower on her own! So wrong. It’s a safeguarding issue. Good for you for reporting the situation.” Another person added, “Nope. They are WAY too old for that. I would insist that it stop IMMEDIATELY! They are old enough to shower alone.”

And someone else explained, “That’s crossing the line and definitely need to take it to court and keep cps involved at this point. Me nor my boyfriend won’t walk around the house naked or shower with our son because we feel it isn’t right especially with all these new laws pertaining to kids.”
