When Kayley West Young married the love of her life, her father was unable to attend. Young’s father past away in 2015.
So at her wedding, her five brothers filled in for their late father. During the traditional father-daughter dance, each one of them stepped in to dance with their beloved sister.

However, what Young didn’t know was that her brothers had been planning a very special and emotional surprise for her. Just before the big dance, their brothers introduced the moment to Young, her husband, and her guests.
“It’s every girl’s dream, like Kayley mentioned, to dance with her father. Obviously, she can’t do that with him tonight, but us brothers want her to have that opportunity.” The brothers then asked the guests to stay as quiet as possible so that Young could hear the song they were about to play. And that’s when Young broke down.
When the song began, their father’s voice appeared. The brothers had edited audio clips from old videos from their childhood into the song. “It’s a song we want to surprise Kayley with. She doesn’t know that we’ve chosen this song so we hope she loves it.”
And love it she did.
Watch the incredibly moving surprise moment unfold below:
As Kayley said, “This video isn’t about me or my family; it’s about the most important thing in life which is our lived ones.”
“Every single person experiences loss, or while experience loss, in those moments, can be deep sorrow and despair. However, I want it to be a reminder that you are never alone.”
Beautiful.
