Over the last several months, rumors have swirled about a potential love triangle between Travis Barker his wife Kourtney Kardashian, and her sister Kim Kardashian. Yes, really.
The rumors reportedly began after a section of Barker’s 2015 memoir Can I Say went viral. In the memoir, Barker opened up about a connection he once had with Kim Kardashian.
And while neither, Kim nor Kourtney had anything to say about the snippet in the memoir, Barker himself is speaking out. The drummer is telling being to “stop.”
While speaking with The Los Angeles Times, Barker admits he shared those intimate details of his life 8 years ago because “it was therapeutic for me.”
“It’s like, ‘Kourtney’s fans are worried about Travis. He’s a womanizer.’ Stop it,” Barker said of recent speculation. “I obviously shared all that stuff because I wanted to move past it.”
Further, Barker said there are no secrets between him and his now wife, Kourtney.
“That’s her sister. She knows we used to talk. Nothing bad was going on. You give people a little information and they think they’ve solved the mystery of ‘this is why they’re fighting.’ It’s just so ridiculous,” he said.
In fact, Barker goes as far as to say Kourtney doesn’t have “any ill will over the relationship” he once had with Kim.
Kim and Barker first met when Barker was dating Kim’s good friend, Paris Hilton. Kim used to work for Paris as her “closet girl” before making a name for herself.
During a trip he went on to Amsterdam with Paris and Kim, he admitted in the memoir that he “kept on secretly checking out Kim, telling Lil Chris, ‘I don’t care if she’s the closet girl, she’s f—— hot.’”
In the end, despite staying in touch, Barker admitted nothing romantic ever happened with Kim. It wasn’t until several years later that Kourtney and Travis fell in love.
Now, Travis and Kourtney are expecting their first child together.
