Todd Chrisley Continues to Support His Family as They Discuss the Possibility of a New Reality TV Show

Todd Chrisley isn’t letting his 12-year prison sentence stop him from supporting his children in their latest ventures in reality television. His son, Chase Chrisley, recently spoke with Jonathan Pepe and Ryan Bashour on their Chasin’ Birdies podcast about his family’s potential plans for a new reality TV series.

The plans were originally revealed by Todd’s daughter, Savannah Chrisley, in an episode of her Unlocked podcast in February. At the time, she said several production companies had already reached out and they already knew what route they wanted to take with it – mainly centered around Savannah and Chase.

Chase shed more light onto their new project, which is still in the early stages of production at this point, during his latest podcast appearance. “Our new show that we’ve got coming out is definitely going to be different. It’s going to be real raw. The good, the bad, and the ugly. So we’ll see how it goes,” he said.

Chase, who turns 27 years old on June 1, also discussed his father’s role in the new show. He might be spending the next 12 years at Federal Prison Camp (FPC) in Pensacola, Florida, but Todd Chrisley has talked to his children about the show and has even given his own input and opinions on the direction of it.

“Yeah, I talked to [my parents] about it. I mean, I love my dad. One of the smartest human beings that I’ve ever met,” Chase said of his father – adding that they have their father’s full support. “So when I do get to see him and talk to him, yeah, I tell him about everything, get his input, and he loves to see us win.”

Chase recalled one conversation he had with his father about the show – in Todd Chrisley’s own words, he wants his children to ‘run it through the roof.’ And while the show will mostly follow the lives of Savannah and Chase, he revealed that it’ll also feature some of their friends and other family members.

His comments come one month after he honored his father on Instagram, wishing Todd Chrisley a happy birthday. “Words can’t describe how much i miss you, this will be the first birthday of yours and mine that we won’t be together but we are together in spirit,” he wrote – adding old photos of the father-son duo.

Chase Provides Update on His Parents, Julie and Todd Chrisley

In addition to discussing the family’s new reality TV series, Chase Chrisley also provided an update on how his parents – Todd and Julie Chrisley – are doing as they serve their respective prison sentences. He visits both of them frequently, often rotating between the two of them with his sister, Savannah.

“But it’s tough, man. I mean, our family loves really, really hard, so when you love somebody as much as we love each other, it’s definitely very difficult to see your loved ones in a situation like that,” he said of their living situations – adding his parents aren’t in a ‘country club’ and are living in poor conditions.

“I mean, they got like black mold [where my dad is], and my mom’s place is even worse. I mean, she doesn’t even have air conditioning. They’re in a camp. It’s better than, like, being behind a wall,” he continued. The couple started their sentences in January – Julie at 7 years and Todd at 12 years.
