What Todd Chrisley Has Been Doing to Reduce His Time in Prison Is SO “IRONIC”

Roughly a month after it was revealed that both Todd Chrisley and Julie Chrisley have had their sentences reduced, Savannah is revealing more shocking anecdotes about their time in prison.

As Mamas Uncut previously reported, according to the Federal Bureau of Prisons’ online inmate search system, Todd was originally set to be released from prison in late 2034 and now he is set to be released on January 22, 2033.

And Julie was set to be released in 2030, but will now be released 14 months early on October 19, 2028.

Now, while sharing another update about how her parents are doing in prison, Savannah has revealed how her father is keeping busy. According to the reality star, Todd and Julie have been teaching classes to other inmates.

Savannah claims Todd and Julie’s new roles in prison are part of the First Step Act, which helps some inmates reduce their time in prison. But what type of classes are they teaching?

Even Savannah admits the subject of the class is a bit ironic. In case you aren’t aware, both Todd and Julie are serving time for bank and wire fraud, tax evasion, and conspiracy.

And according to Savannah, Todd is teaching financial literacy to his fellow inmates. Wait, what?

“Dad’s definitely taught some classes too,” Savannah shared on her podcast while also revealing they are taking classes as well. “Trauma is one of them. I think another one was a financial class, which how ironic?”

Savannah went on to add that her mom Julie “definitely taught classes, like she taught a real estate class, she’s got all these certificates from teaching and completing classes and all these things. Overachiever Julie is… always been.”

In August, Todd Chrisley said he was being treated like garbage in prison. He claimed the reason why is because he’s a celebrity.

The statement was issued by Chrisley’s longtime lawyer Jay Surgent, who told TMZ that Chrisley had been involved “in some odd occurrences while locked up at FPC Pensacola in Florida,” and he believes it’s because he’s so well known in the public.

According to Surgent, some of the odd occurrences include “someone allegedly taking his photo while he was sleeping.” Todd also claims that he hasn’t been receiving mail and believes it’s been getting destroyed.

In addition to the “odd occurrences,” Jay says Todd’s living conditions are less than ideal as well. He reveals that Todd is living with “bad plumbing, possible mold, and no A.C.” And Todd’s wife Julie is reportedly enduring a similar living environment.
