A person with the username Boymom_ashley went viral on TikTok after she was shopping in Target and found a woman wearing a wedding dress, looking for her boyfriend in order to demand that he marry her. The woman’s boyfriend was an employee at the Target they were at.
Once the TikTok user realized what was going on, she took out her cellphone and started recording the situation. She shared the video in two parts.

As you can see, the first video shows the bride, her possible maid of honor, and a possible officiant walking down an aisleway of Target looking for the unsuspecting groom. “The best part of my week,” the TikTok user wrote. “Watched this woman hunt her man down that works at Target!!”

While it’s hard to make out what the bride was telling her boyfriend in the second video, it seems to be a pretty heated discussion. At one point, it sounds like the hopeful bride says, “You put this ring on my finger two years ago and it’s time to do it or get out. We’re getting married right now or I’m out. I’m done, like if you don’t marry me right now.”
The bride quickly explains the situation to the people who have now gathered to see if the impromptu wedding actually happens before the boyfriend asks if they can talk outside. “Yes, we can. I’m shaking,” the bride says as she starts to walk.

It’s unclear if the couple ever got married or if they ultimately ended their relationship. According to TMZ, some people believe the whole thing was a publicity stunt but that has yet to be confirmed as well.
