I think we’ve found our new favorite Disney princess, and her name is Sydney Russell. The fearless 8-year-old girl stole our hearts as she performed an epic dance while dressed as The Princess and the Frog‘s Princess Tiana.
Sydney was visiting Disney World’s Magic Kingdom Park and was clearly feeling the Main Street Philharmonic Band. After a makeover at Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique, the princess began an epic dance on the sidelines.

“I’m excited!” young Russell can be heard telling her mother in the now-viral Facebook video. “I’m scared, but in a good way!”
The courageous young girl didn’t hesitate when a park employee offered his arm and led her to the front of the band. In fact, Sydney decided to really shine by dancing even harder. In true princess fashion, she even kept going after losing a shoe. (Cinderella would be so proud!)

Her proud mom Tiffany shared the video on Facebook, “Her makeover experience was AMAZING… and then THIS happened! She’s the definition of the phrase #LiveYourNOWDream. I absolutely love her.”
After the video gained traction, she added the comment, “Thank you, everyone! We are so overwhelmed by the reaction to Sydney’s video! This video captures who she is every second of the day, and she is so glad you all can feel her JOY!”
Thank you, Sydney for putting smiles on our faces and reminding us that sometimes you just need to let it all out and dance.
The joyful dancing princess has now appeared on multiple shows, including Good Morning America.
