While Taylor’s verified profile can still be view, you can no longer search the term “Taylor Swift” or other variations of her name.

There is a disturbing new trend going around on social media at the moment that is affecting some of your children’s favorite celebrities. Namely, Taylor Swift.

Swift has a following that consists of people of all ages. And unfortunately, AI technology is ruining it for everyone.

A recent trend involving AI is using real images and asking AI bots to edit them. The trend initially started out wholesome and comical, but now it’s taken a dark turn.

If you’ve been on X, formerly known as Twitter, you will have likely seen the hashtag Taylor Swift AI trending. That’s because some people have been using AI to create disturbing and sexual images of the pop star.

Her fans are not happy, understandable so. Now the army of Swifties are attempting to flood the hashtag in order to hind the explicit images and get the users who are sharing and retweeting the images band from the platform.

As a result, the hashtag “Protect Taylor Swift” is also trending. It’s also important for parents to know how AI is being used and how easily it can be thrown into their children’s social feeds.

As fans have been writing on the platforms, “‘Taylor Swift is a billionaire she’ll be fine.’ THAT DOESN’T MEAN U CAN GO AROUND POSTING SEXUAL AI PICS OF HER LIKE A FREAK SHE’S STILL HUMAN BEING WITH FEELINGS. PROTECT TAYLOR SWIFT.”

And although it’s unlikely Taylor Swift will gives these people the time of day with a statement, it’s important to teach children how to avoid theses fake images and to be mindful of who can see their own photos and information.
