As the world begins to look up towards the sky, Taylor Swift is telling her fans to look down at their phones.
Just as the solar eclipse began it’s trek across much of the United States, Swift shared a quick video to her Instagram Stories.
The video showed a typewriter typing out what many things are lyrics to one of her new songs on her new highly anticipated album, The Tortured Poets Department, alongside a link to preorder the album.
“Crowd goes wild at her fingertips. Half moonshine, full eclipse…”
The album is expected to drop on April 19. Are you excited?
Also in anticipation of that new album, Swift partnered with Apple Music to create five different playlists in honor of some of the songs that will be on her new album.
The playlists seemingly follow the five stages of grief, “denial, anger, bargaining, depression, and acceptance;” a theory the Swifties have been toying with for quite some time.
Taylor Swift has shared very little about her album after announcing it while accepting a Grammy earlier this year. She also has yet to release her first single for TTPD and people are waiting with baited breathe.
