On Friday night, August 25, Choctaw High School and Del City High School met on the football field for their first game of the season.
It was like any other Friday Night football game. The lights were on, the stands were packed, and a love for football was in the air.
Then tragedy. Watch below:

It was around 10:15 p.m. and the game was in its third quarter. The referee was in the middle of an explanation when the sound of gunfire rang out.
As the camera zoomed out, you saw young high school athletes and their coaches scattering, seeking safety, as those watching from the stands decided the best course of action.
As KOCO 5 reports, the game was being broadcast live by Skordle.TV. The entire terrifying moment was caught on camera.
Mark Rodgers, who was covering the game for The Sports Animal, told KOCO 5 that he believes the incident started “in the northeast corner of the stadium.” There have been several injuries reported.
As of August 26, it’s believed at one of the victims was rushed to the hospital where they were treated for a wound to their thigh and another victim has been identified as a student.
Police have revealed that the suspect is still at large.
