Shemar Moore and his girlfriend, Jesiree Dizon, are enjoying all the sights and sounds that come with having a 6-month-old daughter in the house. One sound, in particular, has the couple overjoyed at just how much their daughter has grown over the past six months – and that sound was her very first word!
The 53-year-old S.W.A.T actor took to his Instagram on Monday (August 7) to share their daughter’s newest baby milestone – a precious moment that, luckily, was captured on video. And the moment was made that much more special for Shemar, who can officially say his daughter’s first word was… DADA!
“I’m officially a DA DA!!! My life is complete!! Friends, family, Jesiree, and Daddy’s lil Miracle… Frankie Muthaf***n Moore… I love you Jesiree… thank you!!! I love you all!!!!!” Shemar wrote in the Instagram caption. In the video, Frankie is propped up on Jesiree’s lap as the couple coach her into saying ‘Dada.’

Shemar Moore and Jesiree Dizon welcomed little Frankie – his first child and their first child together, but Jesiree’s third child total – on January 24 and she turned six months old just a few weeks ago. I guess it’s true when they say ‘time flies when you’re having fun’ – and they certainly seem to be having their fun!
The recent milestone comes just two months after Shemar celebrated a milestone of his own – his very first Father’s Day (as a father, at least). He celebrated the incredible day with two separate Instagram posts – one a sweet video montage of him and his baby girl, while the other was a photo dump of the two.
“1st Father’s Day EVER… for me!!! BLESSED and GRATEFUL!! My father wasn’t in my life… I never celebrated Father’s Day… but i realize my mother and fathers love for each other once upon a time… that created me,” he wrote in teh caption – adding it was his mother’s dream to one day have grandchildren.
His mother, Marilyn Joan Wilson-Moore, passed away on February 8, 2020. While he admits he was a little late to fatherhood, he’s comforted in knowing that his mother’s dream became a reality when Frankie was born. “My mother was my purpose…. Now Frankie is my purpose for the rest of my life,” he wrote.
Shemar Moore: Devoted Father and… Cornhole Champion?
When Shemar Moore isn’t playing the role of father, he’s playing the role of… Cornhole champion? As of Friday (August 4), that’s a true statement as he and his pro partner, Trey ‘The Robot’ Burchfield, won the 2023 ACL Superhole IV Championship – which was nationally televised on ESPN8: The Ocho.
Moore has always been an avid cornhole enthusiast and even has cornhole boards set up in his backyard – where he hosts regular tournaments with friends and family. Some reports suggest those tournaments get fairly serious and they even play the national anthem before the tourney commences – sounds fun!
Up until a few days ago, though, Shemar couldn’t call himself a champion. He took part in the series – which pairs 32 celebrities with 32 cornhole professionals – last year with the same partner and, while they didn’t win the championship, Shemar got to show off his skills when he got hot against Chuck Liddell.

That’s not all the excitement for Shemar Moore. Just a few months ago, S.W.A.T. was renewed for a seventh and final season. The announcement came as Season 6 was ending and just a few days after reports of a cancellation. Shemar not only stars in the show, but is now listed as an executive producer.
