After checking in, and then soon after, out of a rehabilitation center, the reason behind the father of Kourtney Kardashian‘s children, Scott Disick‘s, quick stint is being revealed. And now, he is threatening to sue.
According to E! News, a statement from the father of three’s attorney Marty Singer revealed that he was in rehab for emotional reasons. And he also plans to sue the rehabilitation center for leaking a photo of him while he was seeking treatment.

Scott Disick Enters Rehab And Leaves After His Privacy Is Violated
In Singer’s statement, the lawyer revealed that Disick had finally decided to enter treatment in order to deal with the deaths of his mom and dad. “In an effort to finally come to terms and deal with the pain that Scott has been silently suffering for many years due to the sudden death of his mother, followed by the death of his father 3 months later, Scott made the decision to check himself into a rehab facility last week to work on his past traumas. He did not check-in for any alcohol or cocaine abuse.”
“Shockingly as a result of the HIPAA violation of the facility and his violation of privacy, he has checked himself out and is immediately returning home. We are alarmed by this extreme invasion of privacy and plan to take immediate legal action.”
It was originally reported that Disick had entered rehab for substance abuse issues, but as Singer revealed, that was not the case. E! News also reported that Kourtney was very supportive and encouraging of his decision to get help.
Sadly, as stated above that help was cut short due to someone inside the rehabilitation center taking a photo of him during a Zoom group meeting which was then leaked and published online. According to a source, “Things have been bad the last couple of weeks, and Kourtney won’t allow him around the kids unless he gets treatment.”
It’s unclear how Kourtney responded to the invasion of privacy Disick experienced while doing just that. In fact, just last week, Disick talked about how hard it’s been for him to come to terms with his parents’ passing on Keep Up With the Kardashian.
“I think when my parents passed, it was too hard to talk about,” he said in the episode. “As much as I was dreading looking through some photos because I thought it was going to bring out sad memories, I’m happy that Dave brought them with him. The truth is, it brought up so many amazing memories and things that I forgot.”
It’s unclear if Disick plans on finding another treatment center to continue working on himself for his family and children.
