Savannah Chrisley is learning to live with a new reality – one that involves her coming home without her parents. It’s a reality she knew would come, but she’s now given closure on how long her parents will be in prison – her father being sentenced to 12 years and her mother being sentenced to seven years.
Moments after her parents were handed their fate, the 25-year-old announced “30% off sale sitewide, plus free US shipping over $50” on Instagram, which she referred to as ‘sassy savings’ – referring to her Sassy by Savannah store online. She sells a variety of skincare, makeup, and fragrance collections.
Not only that, but Chrisley shared a quote from Pastor Kimberley Jones. “Noah didn’t stop building the ark to explain himself to everyone who doubted and hated on him. Keep building your ark. The rain will do the talking,” said Kimberly Jones on her @RealTalkKim Twitter account. She appears ready to move forward.
Savannah Chrisley has been fairly open about her emotions throughout her parents’ trial and ahead of the sentencing – which took place on Monday. She detailed her struggle with acceptance, adding that her mother was ‘handling it way better than I am’ during an episode of her Unlocked podcast in October.
She also felt scared and angry at how her life was about to change in a matter of seconds. “And I don’t mean money. But the two people that I’ve always had there for me and that’s been my support system and who I’ve leaned on,” she explained, asking herself when others are going to step up for her parents.
Todd Chrisley and Julie Chrisley were found guilty of tax fraud, conspiracy to commit bank fraud, and conspiracy to defraud the US – while Julie was also found guilty of wire fraud. Despite the couple denying all charges against them, they both received hefty sentences that will keep them behind bars for a while.
They weren’t the only ones punished in the trial. Their former accountant, Peter Tarantino, was handed a three-year sentence for his involvement – though he won’t report to prison until May, due to hip surgery. Still, Julie and Todd believe that the ‘truth will eventually rise to the top’ and they’ll survive the lies.
Savannah Chrisley Now Has Custody of Younger Brother, Niece
With her parents no longer around to care for her younger brother, Grayson Chrisley, and niece, Chloe, Savannah Chrisley will now gain custody of both of them – Grayson is 16 years old, while Chloe is just 10 years old. Savannah, at just 25 years old, wasn’t expecting to have this responsibility on her so young.
In addition to Savannah and Grayson, Todd and Julie Chrisley share another son together – 26-year-old Chase. There’s also 33-year-old Lindsie and 31-year-old Kyle, who Todd shares with his ex wife. Chloe is Kyle’s daughter, but Todd won custody of her after Kyle was going through some personal struggles.
For the next seven years (for Julie) and 12 years (for Todd), Savannah will have to care for Grayson and Chloe – though she’ll have help from at least some of her family. She understands the responsibility she’s been given and is keen on taking her new role seriously – not just for her sake, but for the children’s sake.

“[I’m] trying to navigate how you teach two younger children who aren’t fully developed yet and … get them to understand the circumstances. That’s a really, really difficult thing,” she said in a recent Podcast episode. It’s not an easy position to be in, but sometimes life doesn’t hand you a choice.
