Sarah Ferguson believes her son-in-law, Jack Brooksbank, is a “man of integrity.”
Only days after Princess Eugenie’s husband Jack made waves for partying aboard a yacht in Capri with bikini-clad women, Fergie (as the Duchess of York is affectionately known) sang her son-in-law’s praises.
“Jack, who was on the front page, is such a man of integrity,” Sarah said during an appearance on The One Show Monday to promote her new book, Her Heart for a Compass, which is on sale now. “He’s just one of my most favorite people. I call him James Bond, actually.”
She continued, “He’s just a superhero in my book, and he’s a great father, a fabulous husband, and he’s never at front of house, he always likes to be at the back.”
Sarah said the photos were of Jack “doing his job” as a brand ambassador for Casamigos, the tequila company founded by George Clooney and Rande Gerber. And Jack was in Italy for the the Unicef Summer Gala.

Sarah, 61, recently revealed just how “proud” she is of daughter Eugenie and son-in-law Jack since they became parents in February to son August.
“I’ve known Jack for 10 to 12 years now. So he’s like my son,” she said. “He is my son and all, but he’s like my son and I adore them both. And to see Eugenie and Jack being beautiful parents to little August, I’m really proud.”
Sarah and her ex-husband Prince Andrew also gained another son-in-law last summer, when their older daughter Princess Beatrice married Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi. The two are expecting their first child together this fall.
“I have the two most handsome sons-in-law in the world,” Sarah said.
Sarah’s book, Her Heart For A Compass, is “a sweeping historical romance,” and is the [fictionalized] account of her ancestor, Lady Margaret Montagu Douglas Scott.
“The book, co-authored with my friend @marguerite_kaye, follows Lady Margaret from the drawing rooms of Queen Victoria’s court and the grand country houses of Scotland and Ireland, to the slums of London and the mercantile bustle of 1870’s New York.” Sarah shares to her Instagram. “I hope you love this novel as much as I do. Available in bookshops around the world from 3rd August, Her Heart for a Compass is available to pre-order now.”
