Ryan Reynolds is giving everyone the laugh they need as he shares rare photos of himself interacting with his kids.
While Reynolds and his wife Blake Lively make sure to keep their children’s lives as private as possible. Reynolds has been sharing more and more about his role as a father lately.
After recently revealing that he and Lively have welcomed their first son into the world, Reynolds took to Instagram to share photos of their older children helping him remove the special FX makeup he wears while playing Deadpool.
Each of Reynold’s and Lively’s children played a special role in the making of “Deadpool & Wolverine.” Their youngest, son Olin, was credited as Babypool. Inez plays Kidpool and had a line in the film. James, also had a small part as a screaming mutant. And Betty was known to be “Hugh Jackman’s handler.”
And on Instagram, Reynolds shared the moment his kids became his personal estheticians.
“One thing special effects makeup artists will tell you, is to remove silicone appliances from your face slowly, with an array of oil-based products to avoid irritation or injury,” the actor and father of four shared, clearly not listening to the warnings he’s received.
“NEVER rip it off quickly or have your children tear your face apart with their sticky little child fingers like it’s a Christmas present – if Christmas was about wondering how someone looks without eyelids.”
“Can’t imagine everyday going through the process on and off. Hours,” one commenter wrote.
“This is what Paul Rudd does annually to maintain his youthful appearance,” another commenter joked. “This is why audiences find Deadpool so a-peeling.”
