On August 22, after reporting on the little prince’s interests for the new school year, Spencer was slammed for how she reacted to learning that along with “religious studies, computer programming, and poetry,” George will also be taking ballet classes.

Prince William told the British media that his oldest son “absolutely loves ballet.”

To which Spencer laughingly responded by saying, “I have news for you, Prince William, we’ll see how long that lasts.”

Thousands of people, including New York City Ballet principal dancer Sara Mearns, slammed Spencer for mocking a young boy for taking interest in dance, specifically ballet.
