Fresh on the heels of Josh Duggar’s arrest and subsequent child pornography charges, his 15-year-old sister Johannah Duggar is reportedly being courted. Considering how short many of these courtships are, people are shocked by this alleged news.

Is Johannah Duggar Being Courted at a Mere 15 Years Old?
It’s no secret that the members of the Duggar family often flee the nest and marry early, but as people have commented, 15 years old seems way too young.
As The Hollywood Gossip suggested, the youngest members of the Duggar family may be courting younger and younger these days as their family name has become very tarnished. The latest Duggar child to get married was Justin Duggar.
He was just 18 years old when he and Claire Spivey said ‘I do’ in February. A few months later, Justin’s 22-year-old brother, Jed, married Katey Nakatsu in April.
Another shocking realization is that 15-year-old Johannah is reportedly being courted by a 19-year-old man named Carver Bowers, The Sun reports.
According to The Sun, these reports began to circulate after Johannah and Bowers were seen in several photos together. Reddit threads that often relay credible information about the TLC family began to suggest that despite still being in high school, it’s possible that the pair had begun courting.
Courting is different than dating as the act of courting often implies intent to marry. However, after the rumors began to swirl, The Sun is reporting the Bowers is speaking out AGAINST the reports.
According to Bowers, who is a musician, he and Johannah are just “great friend.” “We are great friends but no, we’re NOT courting or getting to know each other with intentions of marriage AT ALL. Just friends with her and her family.”
In fact, Bowers went as far as to say he has someone “completely different” in mind when it comes to the act of courting. Carver is reported a pianist and singer in his family’s group called the Bowers Family Singers.
The last time the friends were seen together is on Carver’s Instagram. He, Johannah and two others performed What a Wonderful Name It Is together.
Aside from Bowers’ comments, Johannah nor her parents have commented on these rumors.
