Since quarantine started, many of the shows that we love began filming in homes. This has become commonplace over the last two years for cooking shows. This is exactly what Ree Drummond of The Pioneer Woman fame did. She and her family now collectively help film her popular cooking show in their home.
However, it appears that not all of her fans have enjoyed the transition the home chef has made.
As a result of this change of scenery, Ree Drummond often welcomes her kids on the show to taste test, share about their lives, etc. In a recent clip Ree shared on her social page, two of her daughter, Paige, and her son-in-law, Mauricio, appear on-screen wrestling in the background to be the first to taste their mom’s delicious dish.
If you can recall, Mauricio married Ree’s oldest daughter, Alex, last year. And as Alex referred to the moment in the comments, this is nothing new for them, just “A classic Paige vs. Mauricio brawl.”

Ree Drummond Reveals She’s Received Some Backlash for ‘Lack of Professionalism’ As She Films Cooking Show From Home
And if you have siblings or a sibling-in-law that you get along with, then you’ll admit that the way the sister and brother-in-law are acting is typical sibling behavior. However, it is Ree’s caption that reveals ever since she’s begun self-filming her show from her family’s home that she’s received some negative feedback from her fans.
“While most of the feedback I receive on our self-shot cooking show is positive, I do hear from the occasional viewer who takes issue with the lack of professionalism and decorum displayed in the kitchen,” Ree wrote.
“I used to read those messages and scratch my head, not really understanding what they meant…but then I watch a clip like this and totally get it,” Ree Drummond continued along with a laughing emoji.
Obviously, the mom knows this is simply normal life, and a normal experience many working parents are experiencing as they transitioned from office life to work-from-home life. If anything, this clip is a refreshing look at adapting to real-life circumstances.
And many of her commenters agree. “Real life is the best! Keep it up and enjoy all the memories you and the kids have made. I sure have enjoyed every single episode,” one commenter wrote.
“But THIS is how moms really cook,” another added. This is so true! What do you think?
