Over the last several weeks, we’ve been seeing a lot of Elvis’s former wife, Priscilla Presley. In a recent interview, Priscilla spoke on behalf of her late husband while discussing him being labeled as a racist for a long time.

“Per the movie, [for] a long time it was stated that Elvis was a racist,” Priscilla explained. “He was not a racist. He had never been a racist. He had friends, Black friends, friends from all over. He loved their music, he loved their style. He loved being around Black musicians.”

While a guest on Piers Morgan Uncensored, Priscilla continued by talking about Elvis’s close relationship with Fats Domino and Sammy Davis Jr. “He loved, loved being around Blacks. He loved being around anyone, actually.

“He was not prejudiced in any way. He was not racist in any way. It’s like we’re looking for something from everyone so we can somehow expose them in some way. It’s frightening right now.”

Priscilla has since praised the recently released movie depicting Elvis’s life as “brilliantly conveying the true story.”

Priscilla has also in the past spoken out about the doctor who performed botched injections on her in the early 2000s.

Over the years, you may have noticed Priscilla’s appearance changing. Although it’s not uncommon for Hollywood heavyweights to dabble in plastic surgery, it’s pretty rare for them to experience botched procedures.

But as Priscilla’s spokesperson shared in a statement with TMZ, she had no idea the Argentinian doctor she had been to several times was an unlicensed plastic surgeon.

As The Sun reports, Dr. Serrano was only a licensed nurse when he would attend A-list soirees performing plastic surgery on some of the biggest names in the world right then and there. According to these reports, Dr. Serrano would charge these celebrities $300 to $500, claiming his injections “were better than botox.”

However, what he was really doing was injecting straight, industrial-grade silicone into his A-list patients. The type of silicone used was the same mechanics used to lubricate cars, The Sun reports.

“Priscilla Presley was one of many documented victims of Dr. Serrano,” Priscilla’s spokesperson told TMZ. TMZ reported back in 2008, that Serrano was indicted by the Feds for smuggling drugs, and the conspiracy and use of unapproved drugs.

Lionel Richie’s wife Diane Richie was also indicted as an accomplice, but she pled out and was placed on probation, according to TMZ. “Priscilla Presley was one of many documented victims of Dr. [Daniel] Serrano. An investigation that uncovered his misconduct ultimately lead to his imprisonment. Ms. Presley dealt with this matter years ago and everything is well,” her statement concluded.

Priscilla and Elvis divorced in the early 70s before his untimely passing. The couple shared one child together, Lisa Marie.
