It’s official: Princess Eugenie of York has a baby boy!
The British royal family announced in a statement that the little boy — whose name has yet to be made public — was born in London’s Portland Hospital at 8:55 a.m. local time and weighed 8 pounds and 1ounce last week.
Eugenie and her child are both in good health. She shares her little one with husband Jack Brooksbank.
Eugenie, 30, is the daughter of the Queen’s third child, Prince Andrew of York, and ex-wife Sarah, Duchess of York (aka Sarah Ferguson or “Fergie”). She is currently 10th in line to the British throne and her son is now the 11th.
Buckingham Palace said in a statement that Queen and Prince Philip “have been informed and are delighted with the news.”
The little boy is their ninth great-grandchild.

Eugenie and Brooksbank were married Oct. 12, 2018, in St. George’s Chapel at Windsor Castle after dating for almost seven years.
The Brooksbanks announced Eugenie’s pregnancy to Instagram on Sept. 25.
After the official announcement, the couple posted a sweet photo of their son’s hand to Instagram.
Quite recently, the princess shared to her social the charitable work she’s been focused on with TOGETHER BRAND.
“I’m so proud to be part of #TOGETHERBAND I chose Goal 8: Decent Work and Economic Growth because I believe that everyone in the world deserves to be free from slavery and that all people have the right to their own future.”
“Through my work with TASC I’ve seen the incredible power of what can be achieved when people support and uplift each other. With #TOGETHERBAND we have the opportunity to create great change and I hope we can all join forces to reach the Sustainable Development Goals by 2030.”
