Princess Beatrice has birthed her first child with her husband, Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi, and while we have yet to hear a name, the little one will for sure have a Royal title.
This is the second child for Edoardo, who shares five-year-old son Wolfie with his ex-fiancée Dara Huang.
But did you know that Princess Eugenie‘s little one will not have a title?
Edoardo’s official title is Count because his family was part of the Italian nobility before the country became a republic back in 1946. And while they do not use their titles in everyday life, his family retains them.
As titles are always passed down from the father’s side of the family, and as Princess Eugenie’s husband Jack Brooksbank does not have a title, their son also does not have a Royal one.
The only way that could change is if the Queen herself decided to grant a peerage to Jack.
That being said, the couple’s baby will be given the title of Nobile Donna (Noble Woman).

And just a few months ago, the mom of two broke her big announcement to the world.
“We wanted to introduce you to August Philip Hawke Brooksbank.. ???????????? Thank you for so many wonderful messages. Our hearts are full of love for this little human, words can’t express. We are excited to be able to share these photos with you. ???? By our wonderful midwife. Thank you to the wonderful essential workers including our midwife who came to discharge our boy.”
And on Mother’s Day, she posted her gratitude for being the mother of August:
“I’m so excited to be August’s mum and as you can see I’m enjoying my first Mother’s Day. I’m also celebrating my beautiful Mumma with this picture of us from March 1990. You’ve taught me so much. Happy Mother’s Day to all ????”
