While picking up some of the King’s public-facing duties while he fights his cancer privately, Camilla was asked how the King is doing. To which the Queen replied, “Extremely well.”

“He is very touched by all of the letters and messages the public have been sending from everywhere. That’s very cheering,” she continued, the BBC reports.

Since King Charles revealed his cancer diagnosis, his son’s Prince Harry and Prince William have sprung into action.

Prince Harry flew to London for 24 hours to see his father, while Prince William returned to his royal duties earlier than expected despite his wife, Catherine, still recovering from abdominal surgery.

Something new reports are sharing that Kate Middleton is worried about. According to several sources, Prince William was forced to make a sudden return to royal duties because of Charles’ cancer diagnosis.

“Kate is worried about the psychic toll these twin medical battles are having on her husband,” royal expert and author Christopher Andersen told Fox News. “William is terribly concerned about Kate’s condition — we still don’t know what her abdominal surgery was for or why her recovery is taking months — and now he has to face the fact that his father has cancer.”

“William has always made it clear that he wanted a full-fledged family life, and when Kate became incapacitated, he stepped in to play hands-on dad. He cut back on his schedule to drive the kids to school, the whole nine yards. Now he has resumed his royal duties much sooner than perhaps he would have liked. But there are times when duty trumps family life and, after all, William is the future king.”

Prince Harry flew to London for 24 hours to see his father, while Prince William returned to his royal duties earlier than expected despite his wife, Catherine, still recovering from abdominal surgery.

As Mamas Uncut previously reported, after undergoing a procedure for an enlarged prostate, doctors also found cancer. While Buckingham Palace confirmed it’s not prostate cancer King Charles is battling, the royal family has kept all specifics regarding his fight private.

Now, for the first time since his diagnosis was made public, Prince William has shared his first remarks regarding his father and his wife’s health issues.

“I’d like to take this opportunity to say thank you also for the kind of messages of support for Catherine and my father, especially in recent days. It means a great deal to us all. The past few weeks have a rather medical focused, so I thought I’d come to an air ambulance function to get away from it all,” William joked.

Shortly before William attended the gala fundraising dinner for London’s Air Ambulance Charity, King Charles was transported by helicopter from Buckingham Place to Sandringham where he will continue fighting his battle “away from prying eyes,” according to the Daily Mail.

During The King’s recent hospital procedure for benign prostate enlargement, a separate issue of concern was noted,” the Palace shared with the public. “His Majesty has today commenced a schedule of regular treatments, during which time he has been advised by doctors to postpone public-facing duties.”

“Throughout this period, His Majesty will continue to undertake State business and official paperwork as usual. The King is grateful to his medical team for their swift intervention, which was made possible thanks to his recent hospital procedure. He remains wholly positive about his treatment and looks forward to returning to full public duty as soon as possible. His Majesty has chosen to share his diagnosis to prevent speculation and in the hope it may assist public understanding for all those around the world who are affected by cancer.”

On Instagram, the Palace continued to share helpful tips for those also battling cancer or have loved once battling cancer.
