In the midst of uncertainty, popstar Pink is providing some good news. After taking to Instagram to speak openly with her fans, the singer and mom of two revealed that she had tested positive for COVID-19, but her family is now doing well.
Along with a photo of her and her 3-year-old son Jameson, Pink revealed that both she and her little boy had started experiencing symptoms two weeks ago. She then expressed gratitude that their primary care doctor had access to test.

“Two weeks ago my 3-year-old son, Jameson, and I are were showing symptoms of COVID-19. Fortunately, our primary care physician had access to tests and I tested positive,” Pink began. “My family was already sheltering at home and we continued to do so for the last two weeks following the instruction of our doctor.”
Popstar Pink Reveals That She Tested Positive After She and Her Son Started Exhibiting COVID-19 Symptoms
After self-quarantining for 14 days, Pink got tested again, and thankfully, the results revealed the virus was gone. “[We] are now, thankfully, negative,” Pink shared before explaining how lucky she was to have access to a test.
“It is an absolute travesty and failure of our government to not make testing more widely accessible. This illness is serious and real. People need to know that the illness affects the young and old, healthy and unhealthy, rich and poor, and we must make testing free and more widely accessible to protect our children, our families, our friends, and our communities.”
It was then that Pink revealed that she and her family are donating one million dollars “in an effort to support the healthcare professionals who are battling on the frontlines every day.” As Pink explained $500,000 will be given to “the Temple University Hospital Emergency Fund in Philadelphia in honor of my mother, Judy Moore, who worked there for 18 years in the Cardiomyopathy and Heart Transplant Center.”
And another $500,000 will be donated “to the City of Los Angeles Mayor’s Emergency COVID-19 Crisis Fund. THANK YOU to all of our healthcare professionals and everyone in the world who are working so hard to protect our loved ones,” Pink concluded. “You are our heroes! These next two weeks are crucial: please stay home. Please. Stay. Home.”
In a separate Instagram post shared by Jen Pastiloff, Pink revealed that her daughter also donated the money that she had saved over the last two years to the Temple University Hospital Emergency Fund as well and as a mom, Pink said she couldn’t be more proud of her little one. Pink also admitted that it was during this time that she’s “never prayed more in my life” while she and her son, who had the worst of it, battled COVID-19.
Pink admitted that she would cry knowing her son was suffering, saying that she remembers saying to herself, “I thought they said our kids were safe.” Despite recovering from COVID-19, Pink has been open with how she’s attempting to keep her two children on a schedule as the began to shelter in place.

Not only did the create a schedule to break down their day, but they have also been baking, learning how to play the piano, cutting each other’s hair, and staying active at home.
