The surgery included 22 stitches in Peter’s face. Ouch! First, we’re concerned about Peter and hope he’s okay. But, we can’t help but wonder what this means for his love life.
Early reports say that Peter suffered serious injuries.
Radar Online was first to report that Peter suffered a “serious injury” and that he ended up “splitting his head open” while golfing. Radar Online quoted a source saying, “He went to step on the [golf] cart but fell and split his face open on two cocktail glasses he was carrying.”
Yikes!
Other reporting revealed the extent of the injuries.
According to reporting from Us Weekly, Weber had to be transported two hours away to San Jose to be treated and that treatment included 22 stitches.
The source revealed, “The reason he traveled for two hours to a hospital was that this specific hospital had a surgeon that specialized in his injuries. He underwent surgery.”
Although he was carrying cocktail glasses, he wasn’t on a date at the time of the injury.
Another source had news of his recovery, saying, “he is pulling through,” but, “everyone is worried about production.” The source continued by stating, “All the women were flying in for filming today.”
This will not be pretty. But, maybe Pete will luck out and find sympathetic ladies who want to nurse him back to health? Trying to find a silver lining here…
‘Bachelor’ fans became Pete fans after he appeared on Hannah Brown’s season of ‘The Bachelorette.’
After making his way all the way to fantasy suites, “Pilot Pete” didn’t win Hannah’s heart. However, they must have peacefully parted because he had this to say afterward, “Thank you Hannah for the opportunity to pursue your heart. You will always have a little bit of mine after the time we were able to spend together.”
When Pete was chosen as The Bachelor, he told Ellen DeGeneres, “I’m just ready to immerse myself in this journey and hopefully come out with a fiancée at the end … I’m ready to move on and I’m ready to find my girl, and I’m very hopeful this is going to work out.”
We wish Pilot Pete a speedy recovery!
Although 22 stitches is a lot of stitches, we sure hope it sounds worse than it actually is. Pete seems like such a genuine guy and we hope he’s back on his feet and ready to do some dating soon!
One thing is certain, this will make for some great TV. We can wait to see what the upcoming season of The Bachelor has in store.
