Two days after One Direction’s Liam Payne’s death, his girlfriend influencer Kate Cassidy shared a statement.

Payne and Cassidy were vacationing in South America in the weeks leading up to his untimely death.

Cassidy explained in a TikTok that she flew back to North America alone just a few days before the tragedy occurred. She shared that she was ready to get back to her normal routine and see her beloved dog, Nala.

Now, the 25-year-old is speaking out for the first time since Payne’s death.

“Thank you for all of the kind words and love that has been sent my way,” she began. “I have been at a complete loss. Nothing about the past few days have felt real.”

“I ask and pray that you’ll give me the grace and space to navigate this in private. Liam, my angel. You are everything. I want you to know I loved you unconditionally and completely. I will continue to love you for the rest of my life. I love you Liam.”

She signed the statement with the angel number “444” and a red heart emoji.

The “angel number 444 conveys a powerful message of love, support, and guidance from your angels. It serves as a reminder that you are on the right path, and your angels are by your side, offering their unwavering support.”

Cassidy and Payne reportedly started dating in 2022.

In addition to her statement, Payne’s former bandmates, Harry Styles, Zayn Malik, Louis Tomlinson, and Niall Horan also shared statements following his death.

One Direction’s creator, Simon Cowell also spoke out after cancelling this week’s episode of Britain’s Got Talent.
