Paul Wesley & Ian Somerhalder, the costars of the beloved TV show, The Vampire Diaries are coming together to make us thirsty. Do they always make us thirsty? Probably, but they’re up to something a little different this time.

Although the show ended its run a couple of years ago, it looks like the cast still keeps in touch. What do the Salvatore brothers have in store for us?

In an Instagram post, Ian Somerhalder announced that he and Paul Wesley are getting into the bourbon business.

Ian and Paul played the Salvatore brothers on The Vampire Diaries for 8 seasons. We’re pretty sure they might have shared a drink or two over that time. In the Instagram post, Ian said, “Can you imagine if the Salvatore brothers had their OWN bourbon? Well, it’s coming!”

Vampire themed bourbon? What?

We hope their business relationship is less fraught than their on-screen one.

On The Vampire Diaries, the two brothers worked well together most of the time, but they sometimes found one another on opposing sides. We’re sure Ian and Paul work better together in real life.

Ian also said, “You’ve given us so many wonderful years as these characters and we want to bring you something to enjoy that brings back some great memories and some good times to come!”

A bourbon collaboration is just what fans who miss the show need right now.

As you can see, fans are here for it! The comments on the Instagram post were full of encouragement.

“We can’t wait to share this experience with you! Let’s do this! Who’s in??? Cheers! Love, Damon and Stefan,” Ian ended his caption.

We think a lot of people are in!

We don’t know when their bourbon will start pouring, but we’re already thirsty.

Cheers! We can’t wait to taste what Ian Somerhalder and Paul Wesley are serving.
