On what would have been Paul Walker‘s 47th birthday, his now 21-year-old daughter, Meadow Walker, is remembering her late father. Paul passed away seven years ago, at the age of 40, following a car accident that occurred in November 2017.
On September 12, Meadow took to her Instagram feed to share a photo of her and her beloved dad from when she was just a baby. As the model wrote in the caption, she said it was this picture in particular that helped her realize just how much she looks like her father.

“The moment I realized we are twins,” Walker wrote. “Happy birthday to the most beautiful soul.”
As People reported, for most of Meadow’s childhood, she lived with her mother in Hawaii. However, the year prior to Paul’s death, the then 14-year-old decided to move to California to spend some time with her father.
It was during that year that Meadow and Paul became incredibly close. Meadow had just turned 15 when the accident claimed her father’s life.
And this is far from the first time Meadow has used her social media platform to celebrate and remember her father’s life. In May, the 21-year-old shared a black and white photo of her and her dad being silly together and another of him after she had put several barrettes in his hair.
“This kind of sunshine is hard to find,” Meadow captioned one of the photos of Walker. “My best friend forever.” She also shared a video of Walker from a moment in time that Meadow admitted she never thought she would share with the public in April…
In March…
And again last September 12 in honor of his birthday.
