It’s been almost seven years since Paul Walker’s untimely death but his memory lives on with his only child, Meadow Walker. The 21-year-old continues to remember the good times she shared with her father. On Memorial Day, she shared a photo of herself as a child laughing with her famous dad.
Meadow was just 15-years-old when Paul was killed in a car accident at the age of 40. Many of his fans still remember the day in 2013 when the sad news of his passing broke. He and friend, Roger Rodas were in a 2005 Porsche Carrera GT traveling at unsafe speeds when the car crashed and killed them both. It was a grim day, but we’re happy to see Meadow is continuing to memorialize her beloved dad.
Meadow Walker shared a heartwarming, black-and-white image of her spending time with Paul.
The photo shows a young Meadow playing with her dad. Meadow included the simple, yet heartbreaking caption, “happy place.”
Ever since her father’s death, Meadow has been open about her grieving process and shared pictures and videos with her followers of him.
Last month, Meadow shared never-before-seen footage of her and Paul.
“I never thought I’d share this. But it felt right,” she captioned the video. “Be good. I love you. Stay safe. xx.”
The cheerful video shows Meadow surprising her father for his birthday. She initially frightens Paul but after the surprise wears off, the video is filled with joy and laughter.

In addition to remembering her father, Meadow honors his name through her work.
Meadow upholds her father’s legacy through her commitment to the Paul Walker Foundation. The nonprofit’s mission is to “do good,” according to its website. Part of that mission included raising money to provide meals to children with the Los Angeles Regional Food Bank amid the coronavirus pandemic.
We are happy Meadow is fondly remembering her dad and honoring his legacy. We also appreciate that she’s sharing some of the private moments she experienced with him with the public.
