The New England Patriots have issued a statement updating their fans on the status of Isaiah Bolden.
Thankfully, as the statement reveals, Bolden seems to be doing well and has already been released from the hospital.
The statement continued, adding that Bolden traveled back to Foxborough with the team. However, his exact status is not known to the public as of August 20th. “The joint practices that were scheduled with the Tennessee Titans on Tuesday and Wednesday are cancelled. The team will train in Foxborough this week and fly to Nashville on Thursday for Friday night’s game.”
While much is still unknown about Patriots cornerback Isaiah Bolden, many NFL fans are sharing their prayers.
During the fourth quarter of the Patriots’ Friday night game again the Packers, Bolden was on the field when he went in for a tackle. He seemingly collided with his teammate linebacker Calvin Munson and laid motionless on the field for several minutes.

It’s unclear if Bolden ever regained consciousness before he was placed onto a stretcher and carted off the field.
While Bolden’s teammates and opponents watched with concern, Patriots and Packers head coaches, Bill Belichick and Matt LaFleur ultimately made the decision to suspend the game. The scene was eerily similar to what happened at the beginning of 2023, when Bills player Damar Hamlin collapsed on the field following a hit.
On Instagram, after head ref John Hussey announced “the game is over” on the field, the Patriots released a statement, saying, “Upon mutual agreement of the teams, tonight’s game between the New England Patriots and the Green Bay Packers has been suspended.”
