Is Nick Cannon’s family growing again? Well, it sure seems that way after Nick Cannon and model Bre Tiesi were spotted celebrating at a baby shower together.

According to TMZ, Tiesi and Cannon were seen celebrating their soon-to-be child, as well as revealing their baby’s gender in Malibu on January 30. Tiesi and Cannon were seen wearing all-white outfits and taking pictures with each other as they cradled Bre’s baby bump.

Nick Cannon has since confirmed the future arrival of his 8th child on his self-named talk show on January 31.

“Me and Bre, the next mother, of our child. It’s a boy we found out officially yesterday. That sounds weird saying the next mother. As everybody knows I have a lot of children. And I love them all dearly and sincerely. Every single one of my children is just as special as the next one. There is never a competition.”

Cannon also talked about how the negative talk surrounding how he’s fathered his many children affects him. “It’s hard sometimes because I hear people say they think I’m crazy, something is wrong with me, or more so when they say I’m careless, irresponsible, or selfish.”

Bre shared Cannon’s announcement along with the caption saying, “Well said, my love.”

Sports fans may recognize Tiesi who recently divorced former NFL quarterback Johnny Manziel. Photos also revealed that the blue falling confetti from the shower indicates that the model and TV host are expecting a boy.

This will be Cannon’s 8th, his fifth in just one year’s time. Currently, as Mamas Uncut previously reported, Cannon is the father to a son, Zen S. Cannon, whom he shared with model Alyssa Scott, a second set of twins, Zillion Heir and Zion Mixolydian, whom he shared with Abby De La Rosa, another daughter Powerful Queen and a son Golden Sagon, whom he shared with Britany Bell, and of course his oldest children, and first set of twins, Moroccan and Monroe, whom he shares with singer Mariah Carey.

Sadly, Cannon and Scott revealed the death of their 5-month-old Zen in December. As Mamas Uncut previously reported, Zen Scott Cannon passed away on December 5, after battling hydrocephalus.

In Nick Cannon’s initial statement following Zen’s passing, he mentioned how most of his children, including him when he was an infant, had a “Cannon” head. So while he didn’t think too much about the size of Zen’s head, combined with the way he breathed, Cannon and Zen’s mother, Alyssa, did take him to see a doctor.

Sadly, what they expected to be a routine check-up was anything but. “We found out he had another condition, where there was fluid building up in his head.”

In the end, Zen was diagnosed with a malignant tumor and he was immediately rushed into surgery. A shunt was put into Zen’s cranium and as Cannon revealed, “they hoped for the best.”

In a past interview, Cannon did admit that he was going to hold off on having more children in the near future. While a guest on the Drink Champs podcast in October, Cannon added, “I’m trying to chill out though. I’m chilling out. I’m kinda stepping away, getting focused, going within, getting my celibacy on,” he said. “I have enough children, enough frolicking. I’m good right now. … I’m trying. I didn’t say I’m perfect.”

It’s unclear when Bre and Cannon conceived their son or how far along she is.
