A new report has revealed who the member of the royal family is who asked about Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s son’s complexion. As Mamas Uncut previously reported, in a bombshell interview with Oprah Winfrey that took place in March 2021, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle opened up about how they were treated by Harry’s family after they were married.

One of the most shocking moments to come from that Oprah interview was a moment when Harry and Meghan revealed that a member of the Royal family questioned the color of their then-unborn baby’s skin. The couple choose to protect that member of the family by not revealing who it was.

“When I was pregnant,” Markle recalled, there were “concerns and conversations about how dark his skin would be when he was born. People were concerned with how dark Archie’s skin would be,” she told Oprah.

However, they were adamant that it was neither Harry’s grandparents, Queen Elizabeth nor Prince Philip. Now, a new book has revealed the identity of that family member.

According to Fox News, a new book has revealed that Harry’s father, Prince Charles was the one who asked the question about his grandchild’s skin color. The book is titled Brothers and Wives: The Private Lives of William, Kate, Harry, and Meghan written by author Christopher Anderson.

As the book alleges the question was asked prior to Prince Harry and Meghan Markle were ever pregnant with their firstborn son Archie Harrison Mountbatten-Windsor. In fact, Prince Philip wondered allowed back in 2017 just after Meghan Markle and Prince Harry first got engaged.

“I wonder what the children will look like,” Charlie’s reported asked his wife, Camilla. The book continued to claim that even Camilla was taken aback by her husband’s callous question and answered him by saying Harry and Meghan’s future child would be “gorgeous.”

Nonetheless, Anderson said Charles push further by lowering his voice and saying, “I mean, what do you think their children’s complexion might be?” How the author came to learn this knowledge is unclear.

The book further claimed that Prince Charles allegedly asked the question for public relations reasons and meant no ill-will. The question was then reportedly twisted by courtiers before it reached Meghan and Harry’s ears.

However, representatives for Charles have already responded to the allegations telling The New York Post, “this is fiction and not worth further comment.”
