Nanny Who Identifies as an Adult Film Actor Is Accused of Child Abuse, Cops Urge Children to Come Forward

A nanny and foster parent in Pensacola, Florida is accused of possessing child sexual abuse images. Authorities are asking any parents whose children have been in contact with her to come forward.

Nicole Lynn Walter, 27, was arrested on Monday and charged with lewd and lascivious behavior, possession of child sexual abuse images, aggravated assault, and resisting arrest. Deputies said the nanny went by several last names including Walter, Steff, or Sterns.

An Escambia County Sheriff announced the arrest and charges in a video.

In a video address, Sheriff David Morgan announced Walter’s arrest and described the charges.

“When we first got the reports on Ms. Walter and started the investigation, upon the search warrant that was executed at her home, that’s where we found child [p***ography],” Morgan said. “In that child [p***ography] are depictions of children that possibly are in that home or somewhere in Escambia County.”

“We’re asking for your assistance,” he continued. “If your child ever had contact with this lady, then you get a hold of our investigator. And again, for the sake of your child, let’s make sure that we eliminate them as a possibility for molestation by this individual.”

The Pensacola News Journal obtained the arrest report that describes Walter as a self-employed adult film actress who made movies of her touching herself in public areas. She is accused of recording videos of herself engaged in lewd behavior in the presence of and while conversing with children. Children can be heard talking in the background of the videos uploaded to various adult websites.

“Like she would go to a restaurant or go to a used car dealership and while people were around her she would film her sexual act,” said Sheriff Morgan.

Authorities received a tip through the Florida Abuse Hotline about a potential sexual offense. The report alleges that authorities searched Walter’s property and found a memory card hidden in a drawer beneath her bed. Authorities allege that the card contained at least child sexual abuse images.

“It’s a horrible thing to think that someone that would go into that business [refering to Walter’s job as a nanny] that I want to care for children would do it for those reasons, but sadly there are many people out there that do,” Morgan said.

Walter has also been charged with inappropriately touching children.

The report was also obtained by WEAR-TV and it alleges that two underage girls spoke with deputies and explained that Walter had touched their genitals.

The report states that one of the victims indicated to investigators at The Gulf Coast Children’s Home that the suspect inappropriately touched her multiple times.

Authorities said that child is only three years old.

People confirmed that Walter is being held at the Escambia County Jail on $72,500 bond. She has yet to enter a plea. Online records show that Walter does not have an attorney authorized to represent her yet. She’s scheduled to appear in court again on May 14.

Authorities are asking people with information about Walter to contact ECSO Investigator Jeremy Horn at 478-436-9586 or by email at jahorn@escambiaso.com.
