A member of the community asks:
“Last week, I gave birth via a c-section. [My husband] still expects me to do everything in the house. He does not have time for us, he is always on his phone. On Monday, we had an argument then he told me that I’m no longer attractive. He can’t even kiss me. I’m heartbroken. I think he does not love me anymore. I need advice as should I just go or stay…but the thing is that I don’t wanna be hurt.”

Advice Summary
Those who choose to comment with their opinion on this particular question did not mince their words: “leave him.” One woman said, “I was in the EXACT same position and it took me almost 5 years to finally decide to leave. If I were given a second chance, I would leave the second I was physically able to. Do you want your child to see you get mistreated?”
Another commenter added, “Leave him. He shouldn’t talk to the mother of his child that way. You just got cut open to bring forth your child. He should be helping around the house so you don’t strain yourself and end up not healing.” And one more said, “I do not believe in letting anyone disrespect you. Stay and the verbal abuse will continue. Get out now and decide what is best for you and baby. Good luck.”
