Meet Gavin. Gavin is currently taking TikTok and, now, the world by storm. According to his mom, Gavin is only three years old and after creating a TikTok account to share videos of her adorable son, they quickly went viral.
Gavin, as many people have pointed out in the comments section, has a babyface, but is bigger than the average 3-year-old. As one commenter wrote, “I can’t tell if the baby is 4 months old or 4 years old.”

However, while Gavin’s mom, Kat, knows her son is “off the charts” in terms of his size, she wouldn’t want him any other way. In an interview with BuzzFeed, Kate said he’s been above average ever since birth.

Mom of ‘Giant TikTok Baby’ Knew She Would Make Him Famous
When he was born, three years ago, Gavin weighed 6 pounds, 15 ounces; and measured 19 inches long. An average size for a baby born in America.
But ever since that day, Gavin began to grow like a weed and hasn’t stopped. “We go for a regular doctor’s check-up,” Kate told BuzzFeed. “There’s a growth curve — he’s off the charts! He’s been off the charts since after birth,” his mother, Kat, told BuzzFeed News.

Now, Gavin is healthy and at the moment, three-feet, five-inches tall. Nonetheless, while Kat knows her son is bigger than most kids his age, that doesn’t make the rude comments any easier to take.

Between the “What are you feeding him” comments and the “I thought he was a grown man” quips, Kat says her family can handle the unnecessary rudeness, she just wishes people would be nicer. “There’s been good comments, bad comments. There’s funny [ones]. But some are mean, even a bit harsh about it. He is what he is,” she told BuzzFeed.

“At first it did a little, but we have thick skin, it’s not a big deal to us,” Kat continued. “People can be mean online, they’re behind a mask.” In the end, Kat’s goal was to make her son famous and that’s exactly what she did, even if in 20 years she thinks her son will hate her for the videos.
