According to the Daily Mail, Lynne Price had just read that her scan results for cancer. She described that day, “I’d just read the letter saying I had the all-clear when David came home from work to say we’d won the lottery.”

She may have used some colorful language when she found out, “I can’t tell you what I said, it’s too rude, but I was in total shock. I was shaking and totally lost for words, which never happens. I went and had a bath for two hours and just lay there trying to take it all in.”

Husband, David Price, had just found out they’d won the lottery while at work. And it’s not their first win!

David Price couldn’t believe his luck and hurried home from work to tell his wife about their win. He said, “I went home to tell Lynne but she had some big news of her own.”

“The letter saying she had the all-clear is worth more than a million to me,” he continued.

What makes this story even more incredible is that it’s the third lottery win for the couple. You read that right! They’ve won the lottery three times! Both Lynne and David plan on continuing to work. But, they will take a dream vacation to China using some of their earnings.

A spokesperson for the National Lottery commented, “David and Lynne have such a happy story to help us celebrate 25 years of the lottery.”

Personally, we’d love to shake Lynne’s hand. First, to congratulate her on winning her battle with cancer. Secondly, we’d like to find out if some of that good luck rubs off.
