Getting the kids ready for school and out of the house on time is basically an Olympic sport. Even with things planned down to the very minute (which, let’s be honest, they never are), you are inevitably rushing out the door hoping you’ll make it on time.

One mom, who shared a video of a recent triumphant school drop-off, is now going viral because while she did make it to school on time, she forgot one very important thing – her kids!

The hilarious video has since been posted and shared across Twitter. “She [really] drove her kids to school but her kids weren’t in the car. I can’t stop laughing,” the unnamed mom who posted the video wrote.

In the video, the mom can be heard saying, “I’m driving to school without my kids! I have to go back and pick them up. I can’t believe it. I left my kids…at home,” she said while laughing.

It’s not clear from the video exactly what happened, though the mom does mention during the video that she was “half-asleep” when she hopped in the car and started driving, a sentiment many parents can relate to. However, we can only imagine that the slight mistake woke her up really quick.

And Twitter was obviously a flitter after seeing the video. “Why are you guys late today? Our mom forgot us the first time she came,” joked one commenter.

“Imagine stepping outta the house, backpack in hand and seeing your moms pull out the driveway and speed down the block,” said another. And some noted that perhaps the mom needs a break in her routine or a vacation.
