Melania Trump Wishes Son Barron a Happy Birthday and People Can’t Understand Why She Chose This Photo

On March 20, Melania Trump‘s only son Barron and former President Donald J. Trump‘s youngest son, Barron Trump, turned 15 years old. It was the first birthday the teenager had celebrated since his family moved out of the White House.

And while the birthday message Melania shared on Twitter was simple enough, “Happy birthday BWT,” the picture she chose to accompany the sweet yet simple message had people scratching their heads. BWT stands for Barron Willian Trump if you were unaware of his middle name.

The photo wasn’t anything personal, yet an ominous-looking “15” spelled out with helium balloons. The dark colors of the photo take away all of the cheery feelings one is supposed to feel when celebrating a birthday. And Twitter had a lot to say about that.

“Happy birthday to Barron, but using black numbers for a 15th birthday strikes me as rather odd,” one Twitter user wrote. While another added, “Melanie dear, you could have found a more cheerful pic. This looks quite morbid, but perhaps that’s how you/he feels.”

“Even the birthday picture is all dark sepia tones, very strange lol,” someone else wrote. “I thought the same thing! No heartfelt message just dark gloom,” another user responded.

So far, the tweet has garnered more than 10,000 replies, many of them questioning why Melania picked that specific picture while others showed their support for the Trump family. However, this is the most we’ve heard about the Trumps as a family since their departure from the White House.

According to People, a source revealed that Barron remains her top priority, just as it was when she was First Lady. “Melania is a great mother and that is her most important role. Barron is the most important thing in Melania Trump’s life.”

Barron’s older sister’s post celebrating his special day was much more cheerful. Tiffany Trump shared a throwback photo of her and Barron having a laugh while posing with a stuffed-version of Mickey Mouse.
