Meghan Trainor is pregnant with her first child and she’s preparing for the baby by not having sex until her little bundle arrives. The singer revealed on Today that having sex while pregnant just isn’t for her so she’s opting out.
“Maybe this is weird, but mentally I can’t have sex while our son is in between us,” she said during the candid interview. “All my pregnancy apps say it feels really good. But all I can think about is there’s a little boy in my belly.”

Trainor certainly isn’t the first pregnancy woman put off by pregnancy sex. Many women forgo it because of body image issues, fatigue or discomfort.
The Very Trainor Christmas singer, who is married to Spy Kids actor Daryl Sabara, is six months pregnant and is expecting a baby boy early next year.
Fortunately, it doesn’t sound like the lack of bedroom action is affecting the couple’s relationship.
“Our relationship really messes with my girlfriends’ minds,” Trainor told Today. “They’re all like, ‘How the hell am I going to find a Daryl?’ He’s so good. He’s unbelievable.”
The singer also shared that Sabara frequently runs out to pick up snacks when she has cravings.
“If I said, ‘I want Fritos,’ he’s be like, ‘Yes, ma’am! Right away!,’” she revealed during the interview.
The couple also appeared on Today to announce their baby news last month.
“We’re so excited we couldn’t sleep. We’ve been waiting for so long. I was thinking about who do we tell first and I’ve told Hoda since I was 19, going to the Today show, ‘I will have the most babies in the world.’”
