According to paperwork attained by TMZ, Fox is asking for joint legal and physical custody of the three children she shares with Green: Noah (8), Bodhi (6), and Journey (4). The couple had been married for more than 10 years.

The outlet also notes that Green almost immediately filed a response, agreeing to basically everything laid out in Fox’s filing, though he has requested spousal support be left on the table for discussion.

Green revealed in May that the couple had separated after posting cryptic messages to Instagram that implied there was turbulence in his marriage.

At the time Green explained that he felt something was different in their relationship. He’d had a dream in which he was at a physical distance from Fox. She was out of the country filming a movie, so he texted her for reassurance. But when she returned home, it seemed that his dream had, in fact, been connected to reality. Things felt off.

According to Green, Fox eventually told him she had felt the shift in their relationship too and felt that separating was the right move for them. She allegedly wanted to take time apart to assess whether their relationship was right for them both.

He went on to say they both decided to shift their focus to caring for their kids in the healthiest way possible.

Soon after, Fox went public with her new relationship with Machine Gun Kelly.

Since then, Fox and Green have traded gentle barbs back and forth over social media. Green trolled Fox’s new relationship. Fox called Green out for sharing photos of their children on his public social media account. But otherwise, the pair have gone about living their separate lives.

Though many surely hoped to see the pair work it out and eventually come back together, it seems they have officially decided it is time to move on with Fox filing divorce papers.

We wish them both the best, and we hope they keep putting their kids first in what cannot be an easy time.
