Popstar Mariah Carey wears many hats, but perhaps the most challenging and rewarding hat of them all is that of being a mom to 9-year-old twins Moroccan and Monroe. Carey shares her two children with her ex-husband Nick Cannon.
However, people aren’t really talking about Carey or Cannon’s parenting skills right now, but rather their son’s latest performances on TikTok. Like many kids around the world, Moroccan has taken a liking to the newest social media platform.

And according to those who have been following Moroccan’s TikTok journey so far, he is reportedly quite the hoot. As Vulture recently reported, Moroccan tried to help one of his mom’s fans out by getting her to say “hi” to the fan on camera.
Luckily for us, even though the 9-year-old’s account has since been made private, the whole conversation between Moroccan and his mom was shared on his account and then shared on someone’s Twitter account. Take a look:
The video begins with Moroccan reading a fan question, which asks if he can get his mom to say hi to TikTok. The confident little boy says, “of course I can do that” as he runs around the house looking for Carey. Once he found his mom, he asks her if she would say hi, but it wasn’t going to be that simple.
The singer then asks her son who he is talking to before he explained that one of his fans wanted to hear from her. That’s when Carey told Moroccan to tell the fan that she was on a business call. The next part of the video is Moroccan walking back to the room where he started the video explaining that his mom isn’t ready to be on camera yet.
In another video, Moroccan is seen replying to another commenter who tried to get people to stop asking the young boy personal questions for fear that his mom would attempt to take away his account. However, Moroccan was adamant that his mom would never do that and that he actually liked answering comments.
However, it seems as though Moroccan did have his account taken away, and can you really blame the singer? At 9 years old, it’s hard to know for sure if your son is being smart on the internet.
