Reality star Mama June Shannon is no stranger to drama and this time her money troubles are making headlines. According to CafeMom, it’s been reported that June won’t be paid for her appearance in the next season of her reality series Mama June: From Not to Hot when it returns in March.
She reportedly won’t be paid because she didn’t film enough content for the new season.

A source told TMZ that Honey Boo Boo’s mom didn’t film enough to profit from the series and is not considered an “active participant.” According to a trailer for the upcoming season, new episodes will document the well-known mama, Honey Boo Boo, Boo Boo’s older sister Pumpkin, and their latest “family crisis.”
Mama June’s Money Trouble Persists
Mama June had her first taste of the spotlight when she and her youngest daughter starred in Toddlers & Tiaras and her fame continued to rise on the spin-off, Here Comes Honey Boo Boo. Things seem to have taken a turn when the troubled star began dating Edward Eugene “Geno Doak in 2016.
Her boyfriend has a lengthy list of arrests and Mama June joined his bad ways with a string of her own recent arrests, including one for the possession of crack cocaine. The star allegedly struggles with drug addiction and has been going to extreme measures to get cash.

According to CafeMom, June sold her house in a cash transaction, took to Facebook to sell off her pair of Nike Jordans, and recently pawned a diamond ring. She was also removed from a hotel for racking up $2,000 worth of unpaid bills.
We hope this mom of four gets the help she needs and can turn things around. No doubt this season of Mama June: From Not to Hot will be anything but boring.
