Rarely do families appreciate movies made about their late loved ones, but Lisa Marie seemed blown away by the accuracy and Austin Butler’s portrayal of her father, Elvis.

As Mamas Uncut previously reported, Lisa passed away on January 12, just hours after it was reported that she collapsed following a medical emergency. “It is with a heavy heart that I must share the devastating news that my beautiful daughter Lisa Marie has left us,” her mother Priscilla confirmed in a statement .

“She was the most passionate strong and loving woman I have ever known. We ask for privacy as we try to deal with this profound loss. Thank you for the love and prayers. At this time there will be no further comment.”

At the time of her passing, it was initially speculated that Lisa Marie had suffered cardiac arrest. Now we know that not to be true.

According to TMZ, first responders allegedly administered epinephrine at the scene before chest compression began. Presley was in her Calabasas home when she collapsed.

It’s believed that first responders were able to regain a pulse before she was transported to a nearby hospital.

A singer and songwriter like her father, Presley owned her father’s beloved Memphis estate, Graceland. She is also the proud mother of three, including actress Riley Keough and Benjamin Keough, who took his own life in 2020.

Riley know has full control of Graceland following a difficult legal battle with her grandmother, Priscilla.
