Lisa Lopez-Galvan’s family reveals what she will be buried in.
According to The Kansas City Star, relatives of Lopez-Galvan took X asking the community for help. It was revealed that Lopez-Galvan’s favorite Chiefs player was the teams kicker, Harrison Butker.
At the time Lopez-Galvan was shot while attending the championship parade, the mom was wearing a white Butker jersey.
Now, her son wishes to have his mom buried in the same white jersey as they prepare to lay her to rest. The problem was that the family couldn’t find one to buy.
“#ChiefsKingdom I need your help… the son of Lisa Lopez-Galvan wants his mom to be put to rest in a white @buttkicker7 jersey .. the same she wore the day of the parade. We can’t find them anywhere … anyone have any idea where we can look?”
The call for help worked and Butker himself was able to send one of his own white jerseys to the family. He then released a statement offering his condolences to the Lopez-Galvan family.
“My wife Isabelle and I are heartbroken by the murder of Lisa due to degenerate violence,” Butker said. “Murder is a sin that cries out to God for vengeance and I pray the men involved in this tragedy will be brought to justice.”
“Hearing that she was a fan of my outspokenness for our shared Catholic Faith makes this even more personal. I am honored to provide a jersey to the family for her to wear. While the family is mourning their loss and grappling with their numerous injuries, I will continue to pray for their healing and the repose of Lisa’s soul.”
As Mamas Uncut previously reported, during the early morning hours of February 16, it was revealed that Swift donated $100,000 to the Lopez-Galvan family via the GoFundMe account. Alongside the donation, Swift wrote a note to the family, “Sending my deepest sympathies and condolences in the wake of your devastating loss. With love, Taylor Swift.”
