Lindsie Chrisley Admits She Hasn’t Visited Her Mom In Prison Yet and Shares Why

Lindsie Chrisley is revealing why she hasn’t been to Kentucky to visit her stepmom Julie Chrisley, who is currently serving her 7-year prison sentence.

While Lindsie has revealed that she has been to see her father in Florida, on her podcast she revealed it’s much harder to visit prisoners at the prison where Julie is being held. “I sent in all of my paperwork and have yet to hear back regarding the visiting.”

Lindsie Chrisley Reveals How the Other Prisoners Have Been Treating Her Father

So it’s been a little bit frustrating,” she explained. “The attempts to try to communicate have been a lot different than communicating with my dad.”

However, while Lindsie and Savannah have shared several updates about Todd and how he is handling his imprisonment, it seems as though Julie is doing well too. “Savannah [Chrisley] said that she’s doing very well. My Nanny [Faye] said that she’s doing very well,” Lindsie revealed. “I had not been to Lexington to visit her yet.”

Lindsie also responded to Abby Lee Miller who claimed she spoke with Todd before he went into prison. “I can confidently assure you that there is no concern about towels or soap regarding my dad. I would like to encourage her to spend time giving back to the community and stop spewing the nonsense,” Lindsie said in response to Miller’s remarks.

As Mamas Uncut previously reported, Lindsie shared how other prisoners have taken to her dad as he began his years-long prison sentence.

While talking with prison consultant Justin Paperny on her PodcastOne‘s The Southern Tea, Lindsie opened up about Todd and Julie Chrisley’s first three months of prison. Todd’s oldest daughter says her parents were “welcomed with open arms” by the other prisoners.

“I feel so blessed with that because I have heard of other people reporting and that not being the case, so I do feel like we’re so blessed in that regard,” she shared.

As Mamas Uncut previously reported, Todd serving a 12-year sentence at the Federal Prison Camp Pensacola in Florida and Julie is serving a seven-year sentence at Federal Medical Center in Kentucky.

Lindsey admitted that one of her biggest concerns was if the other prisoners have seen her parents’ reality show Chrisley Knows Best. “A question that I asked you [was], ‘Do you think people have seen Chrisley Knows Best that are serving time in these camps?’ And simply the answer, I know the answer now, is yes.”

Nonetheless, Lindsie admits how her father has changed in prison, noting that his longer and grayer hair works for him. “My last visit with my dad, I couldn’t stop telling him how great he looked. He looks very, very good. I told him, I said, ‘Even your hair looks better, a little bit longer and a little bit grayer.’ His nails aren’t completely bitten off.”

Lindsie adds that Todd has even made a few friends.

“His spirits are great. He is really just embracing the process there and making the best of the process there with the people that are also there serving time with him. He’s made great friends. He talks about his friends there.”

As Abby Lee shared with Entertainment Tonight, she revealed she told Todd to “be careful.” Before saying of the fellow reality star, “He’s very bougie. He is not going to be able to handle, like, the soap and the towels.”

Nonetheless, Miller admits there is a way for Chrisley to survive more easily in prison. “I think he’ll do some trade-outs, there’s a way to survive in there,” she added.

However, she admits that there is an added level of difficulty if you are a celebrity in prison. “When I went in, nobody even wanted to come to the front to get me. There were volunteers that come and give you a tour and all that … no one would come except my dear friend, Michelle, who I still talk to at least once a week.”

Both Todd and Julie are appealing their case as their daughter Savannah gained custody of Todd and Julie’s youngest son and their only granddaughter. Their son Grayson is 16 years old and their granddaughter Chloe is 10.

In a previous episode of their podcast, Savannah shared how her parents are doing in prison and how their children were handling it as well.

Savannah revealed that she’s doing her best to stay strong for Grayson and Chloe, but admits that it has “been hard. It’s been hard to understand, process and
