Update 10/17/24: The family of “One Direction” star Liam Payne is speaking out following the news of his tragic death, saying they are “heartbroken.”
“Liam will forever live in our hearts and we’ll remember him for his kind, funny and brave soul,” the statement shared with CNN reads. “We are supporting each other the best we can as a family and ask for privacy and space at this awful time.”
Singer Liam Payne, who rose to fame as a member of the former hit boy band “One Direction” has reportedly died.
According to CNN, Payne died after falling from the third floor of a hotel in Buenos Aires. Local police have confirmed reports.
He was 31 years old.
Liam is a father to a young boy named Bear, who shares with ex Cheryl Cole.
The singer wasn’t very active on social media. His last Instagram post from May was a photo of himself with his former band members and actor Morgan Spurlock, who also died earlier this year.
In March, he shared a post that talked about his new song, “Teardrops.”
