A landlord in Connecticut was arrested after he broke into his tenant’s apartment and went through both hers and her daughter’s underwear.
In May, the tenant first filed a report revealing she was having ongoing issues with 38-year-old Jorge Orellana-Arias breaking into her unit without her knowledge.
Reportedly, when Orellana-Arias was in the apartment, he would go through the tenant’s clothing, as well as her daughter’s.
Orellana-Arias also attempted to enter the apartment while the tenant’s daughter was home alone, but immediately left when he realized she was inside, the tenant reportedly told police.
As a result, the woman decided to install security cameras both in and around her apartment.

Authorities stated that footage captured Orellana-Arias going into the apartment through a side door and entering both bedrooms.
While he was in each bedroom, he rummaged through the underwear drawers, picked up pairs of underwear, and sniffed them, according to authorities.
Orellana-Arias is charged with third-degree burglary.
Unfortunately, it seems that landlords breaking and entering is not going away anytime soon….
Tyisha Macleod also made a disturbing discovery in her apartment when she viewed footage from her home cameras, capturing her landlord in her apartment without her consent.
Macleod shared the footage to TikTok, where it garnered millions of views. She shared in the caption that she plans to break her lease due to the seriously awkward encounter.
The first clip (as seen above) was taken in her bedroom and shows a man that Macleod identifies as her landlord. He can be seen walking over to her bed, picking up her pillow, and…sniffing it. Yea….you read that correctly.
He arranges it back the way he found it, looks under the sheets and goes back to the living room.
The second clip features footage from the living room camera. It captures Macleod’s friend walking into the apartment. The landlord allegedly claimed he was looking after the cat while she was gone, but that was actually the reason the friend was there, so instantly, she felt something was off.
“I did not give him permission to go into my apartment, let alone go into my room and smell my bed and pillow and see how…good I smell?” Macleod tells viewers.
When confronted with the videos later, Macleod alleged her landlord claimed he was looking for her cat.
“Still not sure how he didn’t see my cameras right there,” she says. Moral of the story? Buy and don’t rent ????
