Lady Gaga has been vocal about her support for presidential candidate Joe Biden, so it came as quite a surprise when her father recently tweeted his support for President Donald Trump.
Further complicating matters, the tweet comes just two days after the president criticized Gaga for her support of Joe Biden.

Lady Gaga’s Dad Tweets Support for President Trump
The singer’s father, Joe Germanotta, simply tweeted “@realDonaldTrump” on election day. He later tweeted, “You may have noticed my political and spiritual beliefs are different. Liberty and freedom of choice would not be political.”
This comes after Trump threw shade towards A Star is Born actress and other celebrities, including Beyoncé and Jon Bon Jovi, for supporting Biden in the presidential race.
“He’s got Lady Gaga, Lady Gaga, I could tell you plenty of stories. I could tell you stories about Lady Gaga, I know a lot of stories,” Trump said to a crowd at a Scranton, PA rally.
